Gerald, I do not know if it is the same Thomas Hodges or not but here is the information I have. The Thomas Hodges I have would have been my 4th great-grandfather on my father's side. He was born in 1750 in Chilham, Kent, Eng. and died in 1815 Ashe Co. North Carolina. He and his wife Elizabeth (1765-1820) had the following children: William (1782-1855), John (1784-1870), Susannah (1786-1845), Nancy (1788-1865), Francis (my 3rd great-grandmother) (1790-1886), Jane (1790-?), Gilbert (1794-1862), Jesse (1800-1864, Sally (1800 - ?), and Elizabeth (1806-1850).
