Is it possible that he lives in the USA?

If so, try doing a search at http://www.zabasearch.com

Have you done a search at google on his name? Be sure to place it in quotes.

Do a search for, "Donald Cottrell" - then do a search for "Donald E. Cottrell" and then for - "Donald Earl Cottrell." ALSO: "D.E. Cottrell" and "Don Cottrell" or even, "Donnie Cottrell."

Then do three searches, using the quotation marks in your search:

"Cottrell, Donald"
"Cottrell, Don"
"Cottrell, D.E."
"Cottrell, Donald Earl"
"Cottrell, D. Earl"
ETC.

Also, check the ARCHIVED old newspapers at:

http://news.google.com/archivesearch?pz=1&ned=us&hl=en&cf=all
