I have a Pearl F. Cottrell born Aug 1899 and listed as a daughter of William S. Cottrell on the 1900 census. He does have a 25 year old daughter named Florence Wilkins living with him on the 1925 Iowa State census.
According to the 1925 Iowa census his wif was Margaret Jane Kephart.
William S. Cottrell's parents were William Cottrell of Ohio and Martha Machams (McMahan?) of Indiana. They were married in Iowa.
Margaret Kephart's parents were listed as John Kephart and Mary Flogermann both from Indiana and married in Iowa.
William Cottrell of Ohio was a son of Benjamin Cottrell and Sarah Foster. They married in Pike County, OH but Ben was born in VA and Sarah in NC.
