I have started trying to figure out my Cottrell line, and not quite sure I have it correct.
What I am sure of :
Sally (Sarah) Cottrell was born in 1793
in Wilkes Co., NC. She died in 1839 in
> Knox Co., TN.
Sally married John Flenniken on 1 Jul
> 1813 in Knox Co., TN.
One of her sisters' was Mary Ferbia Cottrell , born in 1795.
> Mary married John Henson 29 Aug 1822 in Knox
> Co., TN.
Daughter of Sarah Cottrell and John Flenniken was Rebecca Flenniken, my Gr Gr Grandmother.
I THINK the father of Sarah Cottrell was a John Cottrell b 1767, but Im trying to get it right.
