I may have forgotten to mention that I believe that the man shown as "Pierce Cottrell" in the 1820 White County, Illinois (Prairie Twp.)census is the same person as Pryor Cottrell. So this man and his family moved from Tennessee to Illinois sometime before 1820. I do think that his sons could have been Nelson and Thomas. A possible daughter was Talitha, but it appears there could have been more children. Just do not know yet.
