The following was taken from the Sweet family forum:

The will of John Cottrell of Exeter gives a legacy of land to Benjamin Sweet son of George Sweet Jr, otherwise known as son of Mercy Maguire and if Benjamin should die without issue the land to be given to his brother, Jeremiah Sweet.

Would anyone know of this John Cottrell?
How is he related to these Sweets (or Maguire)?
