Once again, great work on this one. The name Barton Smoot is ringing some bells in my head for some reason?

Wasn't there a Barton Smoot in Charles County, Maryland that had dealings with the Charles County, MD Cottrells in the early 1700s?

I still say that these Cottrells did all this on purpose and snickered about it around the fire or dinner table!

I wonder how many of them a laughing at us at the moment?
