Hi,
My great grandfather was George W. Fouratt b. 1829 (steamboat Captain) his wife was Susan Slover b. 1834 who lived in Middlesex County, N.J.They had 8 children. The 2nd daughter was Helen (Ella) L. Fouratt b. 1857 d. probably before 1910 ( these facts came from the "Faurot Family Book" by Frank Reed) Helen married William "C." Everitt in 1879. The "C" most likely stands for Cottrell. William was the son of George L. & _______Cotrell. These families must have had close ties since it is shown in the 1850 NJ census that a John Cottrell, 19, waterman & potter living with Isaac Fourat (North New Brunswick, NJ).Isaac was George W. Fouratt's father. Maybe you could come up with the name of George L.'s wife and if they had any children.
Thank you for any help you can give.Perhaps I have given you some information.
