I am looking for a Margaret Cottrell born around
1807 not sure maybe England and married a James
Kennedy around 1833/4/ They resided in Erie ,Pa.
until the 1860 where they were found on the 1860
census in Marshall County, Illinois. By the 1870
census all traces of the family were gone except
for the oldest son, who shows as head of household
with his wife Mary Elizabeth and son Peter Forbes.
Did James take his wife Margaret and the rest of
the family back to Pa.
