My wifes GGrandmother was a Cotton (Mary Frances Cotton) brn in Edom, Tx in 1877. She married Gossett A. Ridgell in Smith Co., TX in 1893. She is one of 8 children of Elijah Thomas Cotton and California Chandler. Both of her parents are buried in Lindale, Smith Co., TX.
