R.Overton Cotton( had son Abner D-married to Amanda Mackie Thomas)who had sonElijah Thomas dob 6 jun 1846 in MS died 6 apr 1922 in Lindale, Smith Co, TX He was married to California (Callie) Chandler dob 5 june 1850 in GA, died 29 sept l929 in Terrell, Kaufman Co, TX Buried in Lindale, TX. They had a daughter Sarah Melissa Cotton dob 28 sug 1884 in Terrell,TX died 14 May 1926 in Chattanooga, Cotton Co, Ok. buried in Walters Cemetery, Cotton Co, OK. Sarah (sally) married Albert Mason Beavers dob 3 mar 1881 in Terrell, TX, died 14 july 1957 in Fort Supply,Woodward, OK buried in Walters, Cotton co, OK. Sarah & albert had 8 children, one of which was my mother, Sarah Gladys dob 4 july l904 in Terrell, TX died 25 apr 1970,in Amarillo TX She married Cary Grief Goodwin dob 15 aug 1898 Byers, OK died 2 nov l988. Both were buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Amarillo, Potter Co TX They had 11 children, of which eight survived to adults& seven still alive. Hope this is some help to you.
