I am researching the Cottons of Edgefield, SC ca. 1760-1810. There is a website that may be able to help you with your searches (www.parsontech.com/genealogy). This is the lineage of Thomas Cotten Sr. I would greatly appreciate any information you may have on the Cottons of Edgefield, SC. I am researching the infamous Becky Cotton. Her maiden name was Kennedy and she married John Cotton and later murdered him but was exonerated adn she married one of the jurors (Major Ellis). Any information that you may have on the Cottons, Kennedys, or Ellis of Edgefield, SC ca 1770-1807) would be most helpful.
