An earlier Zike family researcher has indicated John Cotton (1828-1846) married Hester Zike (1824-1857) in 1842 in Shelby Co., IN. Obviously, the dates are a bit suspect. Would you care to hazard a guess as to where this John Cotton may have originated? Would appreciate your comments.
