Cotton Married to Jones in 1840s

I am looking for a Cotton who married a Jones probably 1840-1852. Their daughter, Meania Jones was born in 1853. Meania married Silas Wesley in 1876 and was from Danville, KY at that time. The 1870 census of KY does not list a Meania Jones. I have no other information and would appreciate any leads.
