Hi Russell,
I am grasping at straws and trying to find the COTTON surname connection to my tri-racial WEEDEN,WHILDEN,WEELDON/BROWN family line of SC, NC, VA, TN, KY, RI, NY, CT.
It is interesting to find that the WEEDEN/WEEDON surname is found among Blacks who removed from Rutherford Co, KY to MS,
but I fail to find a link.
I have yet to make ANY CONNECTIONS nor does ANYONE acknowledge kinship to my line but just wondering if ANYTHING here is of interest?
