Seeking information on George Cotton, b. before 1790. He married
3 times in Warren County, GA 1- Amelia BEALL in 1797, 2- Rebecca PENNINGTON
in 1808 (shse died in 1812 leaving 2 small children and may have been some
relation to a Thomas Pennington who owned land adjoining Thaddeus Beall,
father of Amelia) and 3- Susannah GIBSON in 1813. I believe George to be the father
of George W. Cotton who married Elizabeth Barton in 1825 in Morgan County,
and the father of my ancestor, Dr. James Kennon Cotten, b. 1811 and his sister,
Julia A., b. 1809. Any correspondence on these lines appreciated.
