Just remember that the last documented date is the marriage of John Cotton (1721-1808)to
Susannah Smith in Overwharton Parish, Stafford Co., Va. 17 Feb 1743. All the dates of events before that are based on material contained in Deed Books, as most of the other court house records were destroyed by the Union Army in the Civil War. If you have been fortunate enough to find dates for John's father, and grandfather we would appreciate your sharing it with us. Regards Margaret&Al.
