I am looking for information on the cottons of old Chatham Co, I have been told excellent research has been done on this line, but don't know who did the research. The line I am reseachibg goes like this:
William Avent/Sarah Massey....Rebbecca Avent/Seth Cotton...Gabriel Cotton/Milly?...Elizabrth Cotton/

Holleman
I know the Avents/Cottons/Hollemans were all in early 1800's Chatam Co. Can't seem to find a tie in to the Cotton or Holleman line. It has to be there! any help! appreciated!
