The Bertie Co John Cotton left a will and probated in the June Court 1728. He could not then have married anyone in 1770. It is stuff like this that make us doubt anything; though I too show a prior marriage to another Martha, but it probably came from the One World Tree, which is to say from another blind person. I show no source, which is the way I mark "Clues", not facts.
