I am trying to help out a friend who is related to the Cotton family formerly of Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma. Charles B. Cotton was born on March 1, 1857 and he died in Lawton on February 28, 1939. Louisa/Louise Jane and Charles had many children from prior marriages, but their own children were: May who married Alexander Priest, Bertha who married Robert Jackson, Gladys b. 1903 and died in May 1970 in California and married Bebee Burns, Marie b.1902? married a Driscall, and Vonnie who married a man by the name of Hauser. Charles is supposedly the brother of Zara Richard Cotton.
Louise was first married to a man by the name of Pruitt, and she had Clarence Walter and John from a prior marriage. Clarence died in 1948 in Lawton.
I am trying to find out any information on May Cotton Priest.
