My name is Kyoto Shontaj Antoinette Cotton, Im 18 and Im in search of my ancestry.
I am the daughter of Larry Darnell Cotton (born in Shreveport, Louisiana) and Annette Torbert(New York, New York). My dad had 8 other siblings that we know of personally but their are many others.He's the oldest born to Robert Cotton and Earlene Miller who bothe reside in Shreveport, Lousiana but has been long divorced. Robert Cotton my grandfather died in the summer of last year he was really my only link to the roots.I would really like some guidence as to where I should start and how I should go about it. I know of most of my father's silings but not all, any info would be extremly valuale and appreciated. Please email me.
