Hi Kathleen, I don't have the probate of Charles Cotton. But I am about two hours away and plan to go soon to the court house in Searcy county. I have that he was born in Edgefield County, SC and is buried in Bear Creek Twp, Searcy county, AR. He was my ggg-grandfather. I come from Samuel Bird Cotton, his son. Patrick Lyons Cotton was born Dec. 11, 1811 in Perry county, TN and married Nellie Ellen Dabbs. He had a grandson, Patrick Lyons born Jan 27, 1859 in Searcy county, Ar and was the son of Martin Van Buren Cotton and Stacy Sykes. Edna Clarissa Cotton was daughter to David Madison Cotton and Sarah Washington Martha Seagles Brooks, and she married Buford Gray. They had one son, Harold. If you havn't already gotten his probate record, I will send you a copy when i get it.
