Don't know if this will help or not but here goes anyway. I have a copy of an original marriage certificate of a Joseph C. Harrison who married Flora W. Bailey. It states that they were married at G.H. Bailey's on the 20th day of April 1881. The part you may be able to use is the witnesses were J.H. & R.J. Cotten(Cotton) and signed by J.C. Bailey. Also if you look in this forum under Bailey #4753, you will find a Harrison as well as Cottons in generation #3 and #4. By looking through the Bailey's, I have found that G. H. Bailey's was in Sussex County, Va. Joseph C. Harrison was born in Prince George County, Va. and Flora Wyche Bailey was born in Sussex County, Va. I have other Harrison information and would like to know if we have a connection here.
