Hi Carole, I am interested in your Charles G Cotton. I am currently STUCK! My husbands ggf was John Matthias (Mack/Matthis Wiliiam/Matthis C.) Cotton, we are not sure of the exact name. Matthis W. is on the grave marker, M.C. is on the newspaper article for his death and a family member says his real name was John Matthias, however everyone called him Mack. He was married to Mary Smith. The married in Talladega, AL. In the 1910 census, Mack listed his parents born in AL. Mary's parents were from Al but her grandparents were from SC. Hope you can help.
Cheryl
