I may have contacted you in the past. If not, my GGG grandparents were Joab Harris COTTEN b. 23 Nov 1826/1827 LA, & Sarah F. CORDELL b. abt. 1836/1837 TN, d. Jan 1870 Dallas Co., TX, bd. Lancaster, Dallas Co., TX.

Joab's parents were Joab Harrison COTTEN & Elizabeth Hunter HARRIS b. 28 Aug 1798 NC, d. 14 Apr 1871 Port Gibson, Claiborne Co., MS, bd. Wintergreen Cemetery, Claiborne Co., MS. Joab & Elizabeth were married 18 Oct 1813 prob. MS.

If these COTTENS are the COTTENS that you are researching, I would like to exchange info with you.
