I am interested in your Cotten/jernigan line. My aunt told me I was related to Jernigan's but I don't know how and she died before I could get the info. I am looking for Wm. Riley Cotten, b. 1871 in Leighton Co, AL. Charles Elbert Cotten, b. 1904 in AR is one of his sons. And I believe Wm. had a brother named Olvier Newton/Newton Oliver. Wm. also was married to a Wood's.
