Cotton who resided in Harris Co GA from 1850 to abt 1870. James is the son of Smith Cotton 1767 Sussex Co VA - 1856 Harris Co GA. Smith Cotton resided in Hancock Co GA in the early 1800's where James was born (1806) then to Putnam Co GA around 1812 where several of his children married. Followups: Re: Mary M.
