I am researching my STOCKTON line and came acrossed a post about a hymbook that had Obit clippings in it for 4 people. Richard STOCKTON, Born Eng 1794 d. Dec 4, 1871 in Chestertown, Warren Co. NY
Ellen STOCKTON, b. England 1803 d. 12-30,1875
in Chestertown
A notice of funeral for a Minnie STOCKTON, MORGAN ROBESON no dates burial at family plot in Glen Falls.
Also, an Obit for a Mrs Charles Lanfair of Lake George Warren Co. NY, no dates, it lists two of her children 1. a Mrs Frank COTTON of Syracuse and 2. Charles Lanfair along with 2 sisters 1) Mrs D.S. GATES, and 2) Mrs ANNA E. Young and 2 grandchildren 1) Margery COTTON and 2)Charles Lanfair. Burial in a cementary in Lake George.
Going on the assumption that these may have been all family related somehow. Does anyone with a cotton line have any STOCKTONS in it. I am going on the guess that this may have been the Frank COTTON born around Now 23, 1887 in Warren NY and buried Nov, 1972 also Lake George, Warren NY
The Hymbook belonged to a Mrs Ann FOWDER from Warren Co. NY
