Looking for information on my GGF's family. He is Thomas Samuel Cotton b. 8-19-1848, d. 12-13-1928 and buried in West Point, GA. He was born in either GA or AL. Married to Eliza Jane Harwell Cotton, 12-9-1871, Troup County GA. Children, Walter S. , Lola Tommie, Aurelia Eulalia, Ada E. Obit says served in Civil War, CSA. No records verified yet, but family legend is that he was a bit young and served as a water boy. Need to tie him to Augustus S. His brother? Augustus and family buried and from Alexander City Al. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.
