Thanks for sharing the update. Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you sooner, but so glad another kind researcher, Deanna, was able to assist.
Alas, I am not a direct descendant of either the Cottle or Powers lines. My connection is on the Williams line, through the "sister" of Mary Ann Williams who married Isaac Cottle, son of Sylvanus Cottle and Louisa Powers. I read through your posting history to see if we might share any other lines, but nothing stood out.
I am quite impressed at how hard you have been working to explore your family roots! Wow!
I checked out a family tree on RootsWeb that might be helpful either with info. or by contacting the owner.
