Mary Ann WILLIAMS, daughter of Alambee WILLIAMS and Sarah "Sally" (?) WILLIAMS, was born ABT 1785 in Rockingham County, North Carolina, and died 29 JUN 1840 in Beaumont, Texas. She married Isaac COTTLE, son of Sylvanus COTTLE Jr. and Louisa POWERS, BEF 1804 in Lincoln County, Missouri. He was born AFT 1777 in South Woodstock, Windsor County, Vermont, and died ABT 1834 in Texas.

John Z. HEADSTREAM married COTTLE sisters, Delilah and Elizabeth. There was a 22 year age difference between the sisters. Interestingly, John married Delilah, the younger one first in abt. 1849, then married widow Elizabeth in 1857, eight years later.

Records do not indicate any HEADSTREAM children were born to these unions.
