Looking for information on James Cothran and wife, Martha Sheffield. James and Martha born early 1820s (probably in GA) and married early 1840s (probably GA). They had 8 children: Robert; Nancy, she married a Hulsey; Lourena (Rena) born 2/28/1847 in GA, married Thomas Walker 2/15/1872 in Cass County, TX and died 8/21/1924 in Kildare, Cass County, TX; Mary, married an Owens; Mandy, married a Clemens; Liza, died in childhood; Nora, married a Blackman; Sally, married a Stuckey and had a daughter, Gertrude who lived in Commerce, TX. Cothran family lived in Queen City, TX. Martha Cothran died and James remarried. Three children from this marriage: Genie, Cos and Lula.
