I did not realize that I had not posted my "FIND" on this site, so I will do so now. We have indeed located the information about Rev. John B. Cawthon (for that is how the name is spelled on the tombstone and part of the reason we had not been able to find them earlier). The line is as follows:
Rev. John B. Cawthon m. Elizabeth Haltom
John's father: Nathan Cawthon b. 1769 - d. 1821 m. Ava Bradford b. ca. 1772
Nathan's father: John Cawthon b. ca. 1730 m. Agnes Harris b. ca. 1735
Lineage beyond this is not clear at this time. I have more information on the Haltom, Bradford and Harris lines if anyone needs that, but it is pretty standard stuff which can be found on those forums on this site.
Rev. John B.'s Cawthon's 12 children are:
William H. - b. 1820
E. A. (male) - b. 1823
Mary - b. 2 MAR 1824 - m. A. J. Threadgill (5 children)
John W. - b. 1826
Sarah Jane - b. 1828 - m. Curtis Harris (2 children) (my line)
Martha - b. 1831
Elizabeth - b. 1835 - m. Richard Umstead (5 children)
Nancy - b. 29 JAN 1836 - m. R. D. Moffitt (4 children)
Gertrude - b. 1838
Nathan - b. 1840
Edmund - b. 1844
Christopher - b. 1848
I only have first-hand information on Sarah Jane and Elizabeth; other information is from information given to me, so I cannot verify it.
