Any info, whether it is census or historical or gossip, about Christian and his ancestors or descendants would be appreciated. Can't get hold of the Cotham genealogies, it seems, without actually going to Hickman Co TN and my letter to Verby Balinas came back as undeliverable. I can be contacted at pstice@bgstice.com if anyone has anything that I might find useful in continuing to track these people. I would really love copies of the relevant pages from the Cotham genealogies and would reimburse costs. I believe Christian to be the son of Moses Paine Cotham, b. 27 Jan 1793, who in turn was the child of Thomas Cotham and Elizabeth, of Georgia. Moses married Sarah Holigan, and among their children was Christian Malford Cotham, b. about 1815-1818 in Hickman, TN. I would appreciate any direction.
