Hi Paul,

I could not find anything to help you find your Cotés in Tanguay or LeBoeuf. But tracing your Touchettes might be a bit easier. It seems there were only two original settlers that brought that name to Canada. Tanguay spells the name "Touchet". He records the marriage and all the children of the original Thomas Touchet, and then 4 generations following. LeBoeuf adds another late-comer, René Touchet. So it is likely that you will find that you are descended from one of them, through your Lucie Touchette.
