Hi Mary. My Côté line came into the states and lived in many NH towns(Concord, Manchester, Carroll, Meredith). In my research, I have uncovered quite a few Côté names from NH that came from Montreal, Sherbrooke, St. Flavien, and other towns in Québec. If you could E-mail me a few of your Côté, I will check them against what I have, and see if we connect. My line finally settled in Niagara Falls, NY, but changed the spelling to C-o-t-y some time before 1910.
