Felix Cote (Counter) & Sophia Goodchild (Bonnenfant) were married 1858 Wisconsin then the family later moved to Minnesota early 1860's. Felix was born in Canada 1830-31 while Sophia was born June 24, 1880 in New York or Vermont of parents of Canadian ancestry as well.
The parents of Sophia were Joseph Goodchild(Bonnenfant) and Lorina Gregor (Gregoire) who came from Quebec to NY.
Would like to find the parents of Felix Counter and I could help on this side of the Quebec border
