Ours is pronounced (cody) my great grandfather was (Archie) born Arthur to Philip Cote and Minnie Cartier. Philip moved to michigan in 1879. He was married to seven different woman and had somewhere around 12 children. Wilfred was one and lived in Monroe Louisianna where Phillip passed away in the 1930's. Archie was born in 1874. Any info you could give me is appreciated. I understand Philip was born in Sainte Francios Quebec as was Archie. Philip's father was Lord Tracy from France.
