Hi That's okay. Nothing on the internet is, nor should it be taken as, a primary source document, it's really only a guide to what may or may not be and needs to be followed up on by each individual researcher with primary source documents. What I wrote is admittedly "Preliminary". As for dgarneau as a source, that website is laid out in chronological fashion and shows interwoven relationships between families in Kebek (Quebec), New France and Canada, with some history of time and place, so I find it helpful to understanding; but it's definitely not what I would consider the be all and end all to anything, it is a place to start which will lead one to further research though. I don't think family names and dates alone are enough to understanding ancestors. Notify Administrator about this message?
