Hello all.
I have information that the immigrant ancestor Jean Coste
dit Cote travelled to New France on one of four ships. It
is believed that his ship was "Le St. Jean" captained by
Pierre de Nesle.
1) Can anyone confirm this information with a primary
source? The info is in Lida Dube's Vol. 1 but the
source is not cited.
2) Does anyone know where I can get a picture of the
St. Jean or one like it? What type of vessel was it?
Anyone have a background on de Nesle?
