I am looking for background on one of my great-great grandmothers, who was born Leah (or Lea) Cote. She married a Joseph Pouliot. Two of her children were Charles and Alma Pouliot, and Alma was born in Lowell, MA. I am not sure when and where the marriage took place, but I do know that Joseph Pouliot's brother Adolphus married in Manchester, NH in June, 1872. I could find no record in Manchester for Leah and Joseph's marriage. It may have taken place in Quebec, but I am not sure. I have a lot of information on the Pouliot line, but none on the Cote line in my family. One more item, and I don't know if it is true, is that this Cote line is supposedly related to Buffalo Bill Cody. My great-aunt (94 yrs old, also Alma Pouliot, grand-daughter of Leah Cote) says she thinks he was Leah's first cousin. Any help on this would be very much appreciated.
