Hi all, I am looking for information on the following:
Nelson Cote/Cota the 1880 census for Iroquis Co, Illinos shows spelling as Cota.
His wife is Sophia, Daughter Oreses, and Julia. The census shows that Nelson and Sophia were born in canada. Oreses is my Ggrandmother. She married Julius Dube Feb 18 1892, probably in Iroquis County, Illinois. They moved to Benton Co, Indiana, where their children were born,
Edward Joseph 1893 My grandfather
Walter 1895
Phillip 1900
Marie 1902.
I show no record of Oreses after 1902. Grandpa Julius is remarried in 1906 to Geneieve Sones. Any help would be muchly appreciated. This has been a brick wall for awhile.
