i was in essex jct. vermont at the town offices and a george cota is listed in the town records. late 1800's
also in middlesex, vt. exit 9 off I-89
state records archives on fishe tape.
many cota's listed. no luck there , go to montpieler at the building behind the historical library. state records on fishe tape....
if you get lost, ask at the historical library for directions.
get lost finding middlesex archives.
it is in the same location as the vermont state police.
