I have contacted you before Linda and you pointed towards Edward Cota, Who had a sone John Cota. This isn't my John.
The details are still vague but so far I've
managed to find the cemetery. The Cataroqui
Cemetery, Kingston, ON. Canada. His records are very bare, only his death date Oct. 24,
1953, It says he was 89 when he died so he would be about 1864. His wife was burried beside him. Margaret Bertram(Cota) died Oct.29, 1951. She was 72 when she died so her birth date would be about 1879. They lived in
the Kingston area and there children were born there as well. I don't thnik either of them came from Kingston and I don't know how they got there.
Any of this in your files??
