My great grandmother was supposed to have been married to a Mr. Coston prior to marrying my great grandfather, Andrew Jackson Moore, 1840-1918. Her name was Elizabeth; however, I do not know her maiden name. She was born in Scotland in about 1830. She and Mr. Coston had 2 children. I have been told that they lived near New Orleans. Mr. Coston was killed in the Civil War. The daughter died and the son was killed when he propped a gun against a tree while hunting. After she lost her family she married Andrew Jackson Moore (born about 1840, died 1918) from Alabama and moved to Erath County Texas. Their children were named Doyle, Denton, Nettie, Bullie, Rubin Jasper (born February 17, 1871, died August 31, 1960), Bud and 3 others. I would like to have any information about Elizabeth and Mr. Coston if any of this sounds familiar.
