This John (probably b c 1740s) was said to have a daughter Abigail Costin/Coston b c 1767 in New Hanover Co., NC - she married Josiah ( b c 1762) Register of Sampson Co., NC c 1789, and they lived in New Hanover Co. Were on the 1820 census there and probably also on the 1830 and 40 census there.
Judy Costin/Coston married (on March 17th, 1801) Wright Register (both b c 1770 in NC), and they are (he as H of H) listed in 1820 on the New Hanover Co., NC census - they may have lived with her relatives after that?? Wright was brother to Josiah - was Judy sister to Abigail??
We know the children of Abigail and Josiah - 6 sons and 4 daughters (one of whom a Mary [b c early 1800s] Register married a Levi Costin/Coston c 1820s-30s in New Hanover Co., NC.
