My g-g-grandfather was a William Costolo of the Preston County/Monongalia County area of West Virginia (formerly VA). He was born in 1810 somewhere in Virginia, married Anna Pullen and they came to the area that is now in WV ca 1842. William died in 1887 and he and Anna are buried in the Gordon Cemetery in Preston County. Does this William tie in with your William? Do you know who his parents were, etc.? I have information (not verified) that his father was Robert Christopher Costolo and his grandfather was Christopher Costoloe. The latter owned property in Loudoun County, VA in 1788. Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
