I quickly look ed through my information to see if I had anything on any of your mentioned relatives, but I didn't. However, I can give you something to think about.

Adam Kastner was the pioneer of this family. He would be your peoples first link in America, because we know that all Costner's with a "T" in the middle are related somehow.

Adam had several children. I am descended from his son Jacob (my maiden name is Costner.) He did have a son Andrew (b. abt 1734, Rhine, Germany), but we don't know anything about him. The original presumption was that he died single, but the feeling seems to be that he had a family and for some reason he became untraceable. There is record of his buying 300 acres of land on May 2, 1775, on Lick Branch from his brother Peter, and adjoined Peter and Laboon Mt. land. This was in Tryon/Lincoln County, NC.

My guess, since they all seemed to name their children after the patriarch of each clan, is that your Andrew is somehow connected to that Andrew, since several members of the Costner family migrated west. It may be that your Andrew was his son or grandson.

I will email you with some helpful sites I have found. Please feel free to email me directly.

Leslie
