I have received new information from Charles Costner regarding the ancestry of our Georg Adam Kastner and his father Andreas Kastner. Andreas's father Johannes Kastner married Maria Brouder (not Anna Margaretha) daughter of Hans Brouder. She is the mother of Andreas. This is due to new research in Germany. This research also uncovered an error in Georg Adam Costner's birthdate. There were other children born who died earlier of similar names but Georg Adam was christened 28 April 1709. His wife was born in 1715 so that leaves their marraige date in question also. Their first child, Anna Maria Barbara was christened 1 May 1736 so they probably married in 1734 or 35. Their second child was Major Phillip Jacob Kastner.
