My great-great grandfather's name is David Jefferson Costner who is married to Letha Stephenson (his 2nd or 3rd wife at the time) in the late 1800's. They both came from and born in Mississippi. They moved to Arkansas, where my great-grandmother, Mary Costner was born (in 1896). I have read in a family treeline that David J. Costner's father is also named David, who was born in North Carolina.
Do any of you come from David Jefferson Costner's line (like cousins, etc.) and when did his family come from Germany (I know Costner is a German name)?
